A must see if you're in Bath. Incredibly scenic gardens with plenty of space by the lake to pull up a picnic or use the cafe.

Two small points: it's only about a 15 minute walk from the train station, and this probably wouldn't be great for wheelchairs.

Walk at a slower pace along the paths, let the 'peace' of this place: see, hear, smell, work on you?

“Err...”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

How come a garden in such a spectacular setting ends up being so,,, average? What happened to the bridge over the lake? Why so neglected? You slog up Ralph Allen Drive, walk through Prior Park, and the highlight is... Widcombe. Oh well., not so bad afer all. And I did enjoy the Fritillaries. Oh dear - I've turned into grumpy old man.
