I did not know this was a tourist attraction (I worked here for about 25 years). It is a busy hospital treating all rheumatological diseases and patients with chronic pain. It does have a wonderful staircase in the front hall with marvellous oil paintings and a roman pavement in the basement but I am sure visitor cannot just wander in and look around because of patient confidentiality, however I believe the Official Tourist guides escort visitors into the building on their tours of Bath.

A caring environment, very sad day when/if its proposed merger with the RUH happens. Everyone friendly and really helpful.

Dedicated staff doing remarkable work. A hidden medical gem in the heart of Bath. Thousands of locals and tourists pass by unknowingly, innocent of the skill, care and attention behind the entrance doors.
