We stayed overnight at Brindley's whilst visiting Bath. We chose it after reading the wonderful reviews about it. Our room was the king sized suite and it is beautifully decorated in a French style. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean with lots of little added extras to make it special such as tea and coffee making facilities in room, bathrobes, hairdryer etc. Everything you need really. A wonderful personal service is given by the welcoming hosts and we would would certainly recommend a saty here. Much better than some of the larger hotels. The breakfast was excellent. Easy walking distance into the centre of Bath.

Room Tip: We had the King sized suite which was excellent

Googled boutique Accomodation for bath and this little beauty appeared.
It didn't disappoint, a beautiful house, a wonderful comfortable bedroom and bedding.
And breakfast was scrumptious.
Possibly top end money but you certainly get what you pay for and I will go back to brindleys. Location excellent, 10 mins max nice walk on the flat to get in to the center of bath and 1 min north to the canal path which made for an excellent run and cycle before breakfast!
Jamie and his wife have made a wonderful hotel to stay in.
Thank you very much.

Upon getting out of my Taxi i was struck by the loveliness of the setting. A grand old house in lovely gardens. The owners were a lovely couple that were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay. I booked last minute and was lucky enough to get the king sized suite, which was gorgeously appointed, with a beautiful bathroom and a huge and exceptionally comfortable bed. The breakfast the next morning was gorgeous, I had the full English and it was delightful, in a lovely breakfast room with the lovely Edith Piaf playing quietly in the background. It is just a short walk to town which was down lovely tree lined streets. I was only there for one night but would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Brindleys is simply a lovely, homely place, full of lovely touches, with great hosts who cannot do enough for you. it was clearly put together by a woman - everything is thought of and is done in a really unpretentious way, with a real French sort of style.

A stay at Brindley’s is like having good friends in Bath who invite you to stay at their lovely Victorian mansion. From the time you enter through the garden gate, down the garden path, and into the house, it is simply lovely, charming, and thoroughly inviting! I couldn’t prevent a big delighted smile from forming on my face. At this point you wouldn’t describe the process as “check-in” but rather “welcome-in”. There is no elevator (or “lift” as they call it here) but don’t fret about this; the staff happily hauled our 50 lb suitcases up to our room and graciously replied to our apologies with, ”don’t worry, we’ve had worse!”...although I did not believe this.

We stayed in Bedroom Two. It was small but very pleasant with charming furniture and a chandelier. An armoire provided storage for our things. Overall the feel was a comfortable elegance. The bedding was comfy and the towels thick and fluffy. The bathroom had nice stone walls, and special note of the shower must be made - amazing water pressure! I love that!!!

In the morning we woke up to the smell of croissants baking downstairs, as if beckoning us down to dine. Breakfast is taken in their beautiful little French accented, bright and airy breakfast room. There is a continental buffet and a petite breakfast menu, which includes eggs to order, and coffee was by French press. These breakfasts were delicious and substantial.

The location is in a residential neighborhood that provides peace and quiet, but is an easy and lovely stroll across the Avon into the Bath town center, near the Abbey and Roman Baths.

Our hosts were so kind and gracious. They take care of everything at Brindley’s, so it was especially nice to have some chat-time with them while we were waiting for our ride. And a special thank you for going that “extra mile”.

I can hardly wait to return to Bath and stay at Brindley’s.
