Hidden away, this boutique hotel is perfectly clean with a mixture of modern taste set in an old building. The owners were very polite and the breakfast was fantastic. Yes it's expensive but you get what you pay for. The only reason why this place isn't ranking higher on the TA scale is due to the place only having 6 (or 7 I can't remember) rooms so the volume of reviews on TA are very small as opposed to a hotel serving 100 rooms a month.

It will get there one day and if we ever return to bath we will come here again.

This charming B&B is ideally located in a quiet residential section of Bath, yet it's just a 10-minute walk to the town center.

Our room had an extraordinarily comfy super-king bed in a beautiful room. The bathroom was a bit cozy, yet it was modern and exceptionally clean. Also a great place to have a nap after sightseeing and before dinner. We spent two wonderful nights and sometimes preferred lounging at lovely Brindley's.

Breakfasts are a real highlight...all cooked to order. And it was such a relief to have some options other than the traditional English fry-up. I really enjoyed the scrambled eggs with salmon...and the fresh, hot croissants were out of this world.

The owners were very friendly and helpful...and they gave us some wonderful recommendations for restaurants.

Michsel and Sarah are wonderful innkeepers and made us feel mort welcome. The inn is totally modern and very clean and beautifully decorated with lots of charm. Breakfast is served in cheerful room and is plentiful and delicious. Very close to train station and center of Bath. Romantic and charming. Room scented with lavender; wonderful garden.

What an excellent bed and breakfast this was. Stayed there for a weekend with another couple. We had room 1 and they had room 6. There was not one thing any of us could fault with this B&B. The cleanliness was second to none as was the decor. Very quiet area of Bath, but a short walking distance to centre of bath. Easy parking, with permit supplied by owners. Shouldn't really give it such a good review, because next time we want to stay there it will be fully booked, and there will definatly be a next time.

Unlike numerous places, everything at Brindleys is as the website & photos suggest. Rooms are new and beautifully decorated. Friendly and personal service, only 5-10 min walk into central Bath. Little touchs like complamentary bottles of water, amazing breakfast and recommendations and suggestions of what to do in bath makes this B&B standout.

What an amazing time we had at Brindleys, was exactly if not better than described on google. Absolute credit to Michael & Sarah oh and the rest of the family who run it. We stayed in room 3 which was perfect, I loved every part of the decor which I was drawn to in the first place even down to the seagrass carpet. Breakfast was very good the ambiance in the dining room really did make me feel as though I was in a little French Bistro, I think it helped as I was sitting next to the ipod docking station which was filling the room with sounds of Edith Paif (No regrets). The location was great which meant we could park the car and walk into Bath and see all of the sights - Michael recommended "Bizarre Bath" which is a comedy non historical walk round bath lasting around 90mins, but absolutly worth it. Thanks for making our anniversary one to remember.

Room Tip: There are only 6 rooms to choose from so i's your own personal preference.

A very well-run and welcoming B&B, infused with a pleasant air of luxury down to the small details, like the dry flowers on the bed or the grapefruit-flavoured shampoo. I consider my standards in term of cleanliness as very high and this place scored very well, with only one point keeping it from reaching top marks: the underside of the toilet seat was *not* spotless; other than that, the bathroom and shower facility were impressive in shine, style and functionality; plenty of fluffy towels and toiletries too.

Bed and linen very comfortable, with a nice wide-screen TV-set right in front of it and coffee-making facility beside it. I slept like a baby.
One thing I missed though was an additional set of daylight curtains: with only the blackout curtains fitted, during daylight you have to choose between dimness and having your room in full view of passer-bys and residents of the opposite buildings, due to the generously-sized window.

The breakfast was scrumptious, served in a very pleasant French-themed dining room. I particularly loved the mixed berries fruit salad with yoghurt and the bacon and eggs of course.

Overall, a place I would recommend: close to town, luxurious accommodation, friendly and welcoming host. You don't mind paying that little bit extra for that.
