“Fantastic Place to Chill”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

My Sister and myself stayed for one night recently. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. David and Laura are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful I wanted to stay longer. We will definitely be returning soon. I have already spread the word to my colleagues and friends, telling them how fantastic Brindleys is. I could not fault it in anyway. Can't wait to return.

We visited Brindleys from 8th August to the 10th August. We also booked the thermae spa via Brindleys which is definitely worth a visit. The service at Brindleys is fantastic. Upon arrival we were met by the owner David who sat us down with a map and showed us the easiest and quickest way to get into town, along with some good restaurants and places to visit.

The room itself was beautifully decorated, lovely and clean and perfect for our short stay. The room also had an en-suite. We were not disturbed at all whilst at the B&B, all other rooms were occupied but the B&B was still very quiet.

Service and quality of food at breakfast was also fantastic.

Bath itself is a beautiful city and I would definitely stay at Brindleys again when visiting Bath

We stayed in this B&B for 2 nights after our wedding for some rest and relaxation. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with some lovely finishing touches: we particularly loved the Kitkat bars in the room, scented flowers and candles everywhere and fresh milk for our tea in the rooms (gasp!).
It was a short 5 minute walk on the flat to the centre of Bath and a £5 taxi fare if we were feeling lazy.
Breakfast was fresh, tasty and varied.
Would highly recommend this B&B if you are after a high quality, luxury getaway.

Just the most charming B&B you could hope to stay in. We were made very welcome by Laura who showed us around the B&B and gave us directions and tips to make the most of our stay in Bath. Our room was beautifully appointed in a French style with a perfect blend of modern and traditional. Little touches like lavender sachets on the fluffy white towels, jugs of milk and bottled water available from the fridge sets this place apart from many others. The en-suite shower room, although bijou, has got to be one of the best we've encountered in a B&B with a great contemporary design and twin basins. The light and airy breakfast room was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. It was an easy walk into the centre of Bath and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this delightful place for people visiting the city.

My boyfriend and I spent one night here, our first time in Bath, and had a really enjoyable stay. It was really easy to find in a quiet little road only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. We drove and parked our car easily directly outside the b&b and were immediately provided with a parking permit. Laura was a wonderful host, advising us on places to visit and restaurants to try while we were there. The room was beautifully decorated (we had room 3) with everything you need for a really comfortable short break. Free bottles of refrigerated spring water were available at all times and the drink selection in the room was brilliant! Lots of different kinds of tea, ground coffee including a caffetiere and hot chocolate! Breakfast in the morning was delicious, a really good selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, orange juice, and cooked breakfasts made to order.
Would recommend this b&b to anyone, it is quite expensive but it is a little bit of luxury and we didn't regret paying that little bit more to stay here.
We will return!

Room Tip: Room 3 was beautiful!

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from our first mini break away together and we stayed at Brindleys for two nights. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely Laura who gave us recommendations of where to eat (we took both of them and had two lovely meals), stored our bags for us and provided us with a top notch breakfast on both mornings. Breakfast was so good and so filling that we didn't need to have lunch.

I'd definitely recommend Brindleys to anyone visiting Bath. It was a 6-7 minute walk from the centre and really, really relaxing. Gorgeous bed too. Had the best nights sleep I've had in months there.
