“Tasty food, enjoyed the jazz”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

Visited on a Friday and really enjoyed the unobtrusive live jazz as the background to our evening. Squid with Asian coleslaw and scallops with black pudding both recommended, followed by the rib eye with peppercorn (delicious) and goats cheese cannelloni, with a perfectly dressed fennel and pine nut salad. Finished with cheese and the chocolate torte, both generous portions, and washed down with a Tempranillo reserva. Attentive service and friendly staff. A bit puzzled by my margarita in a wine glass though! Not a cheap evening, but thoroughly enjoyable.

We ate here on a Saturday night when live Jazz was being played. Great atmosphere, lovely food and wonderfully engaged service. Would definitely recommend.

“Excellent Value”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

A group of 17 of us had a great meal here last weekend. We preordered from the early diner menu and the food was fantastic. For three courses, we paid £16 per head. The standard of food was extremely high and they could have charged more. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

“Average at best”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

A party of eight and the waiter forgot to order one of the main meals. 7 arrived and the other person had to wait 15 minutes for theirs.

The Organic beef burger sounded and looked great but was over cooked and dry.

Won't be rushing back and recommended only if there is nothing else open.
