“All Round Excellance”

Party of seven to celebrate our Daughter's graduation. Everything about the visit was spot. Service, food, ambience & gentle Jazz thrown in. What more could you wish for?
Very slightly off the main drag, but well worth the short walk. Highly recommended.
Excellent value for money.

“Relax in a unique ambience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2016 via mobile

Green Park Brasserie was once a train terminal. Not that you would know today unless you look up and wonder why the ceilings are so high or why it seems to have such a large covered area outside. While the decor was welcoming, and the food and drinks on offer give plenty of tough choices, what made me choose this place for dinner was the live music. I had 3 different draft beers - all served from tap to table with confidence - and a seafood pasta worthy of a good Italian restaurant charging twice as much, but I was disappointed with one part of the evening: the jazz trio definitely drifted in and out of dinner jazz mode. I would have preferred them to show us what they can really do.

“We were part of a group - but still no excuse for awful food and service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2016

We were part of a bus tour, so didn't have high expectations. However, it was terrible. I had penne pasta, which was stone cold in a flavorless sauce. They gave us water but we weren't offered anything else, even though we were quite willing to buy a pint. The service wasn't good -- it was a great disappointment.
