Very comfortable stay in this beautiful Georgian House. Definitely a sense of staying in someone's home but Pete and Liza are very welcoming and happy to share their thoughts and ideas on what to do in the area so felt very at ease. Large rooms, fab bathroom and great location. Amazing continental breakfast - what's not to like!

I just had to write a review following our brilliant weekend in Bath on Liza and Petes Narrowboat!Upon initially making a rather short notice enquiry about staying in the B&B Pete advised that though all the rooms were booked we could instead stay on their Narrowboat moored in the heart of Bath itself! Following Pete and Lizas great communication and viewing a few pictures online I considered that this would be a fun and interesting alternative. The boat is beautiful, roomy, fitted out very nicely, the bed was very comfortable and its location perfect! The quality of the continetal breakfast was fantastic and the boat was equipped with many other little things that just made the experience feel very special. Andrew looks after the boat for Liza and Pete and both myself and my girlfriend were overwhelmed by how attentive and willing he was to ensure we both enjoyed and made the most of our stay, he really added something to the experience. To sum up, I booked one night for a surprise weekend away and ended up wishing I had booked 7! The communication from Liza and Pete was brilliant and the service from Andrew was second to none. The boat was all we could have wanted and we are already talking about when we to return again and furthermore when we can try out the B&B....Thank You!

My daughter wanted to treat me for my 61st birthday. She excelled. We first booked in with Pete & Liza at their unbelieveable b&b. It is a stunning Georgian home. They were most welcoming and showed us our rooms. It is was a difficult choice which room as they were both of the highest calibre, one had 4 poster and adjoing bathroom but I chose the room at the front which was slighly larger and separate bathroom with a roll top bath - what more can one say!!! Oh yes the fixtures and fittings in the drawing room were gorgeous and I just loved all the collectibles. It was only a short walk into central Bath where we first popped into the Holburne Museum then visited all the usual touritst attractions, best was the Roman Baths so steeped in 2000 ++ year old history. The thermae spa with roof top spa pool was sensational with views of cathedral etc. We need to find a longer slot to visit again - highly recommendable. Oh yes nearly forgot the top-class breakfast. Set us up for our sad return home back to London!!!

Room Tip: THIS IS THE BEST - ignore all others!!! Wish I could add plus signs the the above ratings

We stayed here after my graduation as although I am fairly local my parents were coming down from up North and we wanted to spend a night in Bath for them to see the sights.

This was one of the best value B&B’s I found (£86 for one room and £96 for the other) but it was still full of character and very luxurious.

The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating; we could pretty much chose our breakfast time and a parking permit was sorted for us unbelievably easily.

The rooms were amazing, my mum and dad stayed in the room overlooking the garden which had a nice four poster and a lovely bathroom. My husband and I stayed one floor up with our own huge floor and the biggest bathroom I have ever seen! All rooms were tastefully decorated with lovely quirky objects which gave the place a really different but welcoming feel. We even had our own wonderful lounge to chill out in when we got back complete with honesty bar with port and whisky.

Breakfast was perfect, a lovely selection of cold meats, cheese, bread and freshly brewed coffee. It was really different and went down better than a full English!

Given some B&B’s in Bath I saw were well over £150 you absolutely cannot go wrong with this place and it’s in a perfect spot just off Great Pulteney St.

Found this on the internet and booked both for us, and on behalf of friends we were meeting in Bath. Really pleased with the outcome. Beautiful home. Had a really pleasant stay. Made to feel welcome from the first. We stayed in the large bedroom on the third floor, with its own separate (huge) bathroom. Both rooms were clean, tidy, and quirky! Only problem we encountered was the traffic noise early morning, but it didn't detract from our stay. Our friends stayed in the room on the second floor which looked out over the garden and was quieter. Would definitely look them up again, should the occasion arise for another stay in Bath. Lovely!

We stayed on a Friday and spent the Saturday on the owners narrow boat as they were booked up. The B&B has been restored lovingly back to its original Georgian style, so very spacious and full of character. We followed Peter's advice on Friday night and popped into the pub over the road which had a lovely atmosphere and seemed to have no closing time! That did not stop us enjoying a nightcap provided ( with an appropriately positioned honesty box) in the living room we had free rein over. Breakfast the next morning was in the wonderful kitchen and very relaxed. A lovely and friendly place to stay and enjoy Bath.

I booked this B&B via www.visitbath.co.uk but would suggest booking directly with the owners as they give good rates and also offer loyality rewards for returning guests.
The B&B itself is a beautifully presented Georgian Town House set in the city centre of Bath and literally minutes walk from all of Bath's main attractions, shops, bars and restaurants.
The owners are a lovely couple who were always happy to help and very welcoming and knowledgable of the local area. Sadly we only stayed for one night and didn't spend a huge amount of time in the B&B but it was clean, tidy, homely and had beautiful interior decor with the owners having spent a lot of time and money attending to detail.
The room we stayed in was slightly small but the lovely four poster bed made up for the lack of space. The room had fresh towels, robes and tea/coffee facilties. Our room had a modern and spacious en suite.
Breakfast of Tea/Coffee. toast, preservatives, cold meats, fish, cheese, cereals was served in a glorious kitchen with Aga, log burning stove and bench style table.
Overall very good and would definitely recommend to someone looking for a friendly, home from home type of B&B within a great location.
