one night stay which was awfull, creaking floor boards ,and bed too, ripped curtain. bed and cupboard on wooden blocks, dust everywhere, shower handle fell off, heating on all night, bed side table was unstable, placed a bottle on it and it slid straight off.carpets uneven on the stairs, where is the health and safety there, charged us an extra 10 pounds to park your car there too, great location very close to the centre of a beautiful city, very dissappointed with the standard of the red car hotel, please avoid its hazard.

The only two good things about this hotel were it's location and polish receptionist. The rest is terrible as hell.. Room 301 was old dated and smelly, bed was squeaky, doors to the bathroom were not closing, shower did not work, carpets old and dirty, wall paper hanging off the walls.

Appalling rooms, mould and condensation, paint and wood work broken and peeling off the window frame due to mould and black grime, filth and lack of repairs, wallpaper off the walls, blinds shabby.. In fact the whole hotel is shabby, it's the worst hotel I have seen. Service very poor and with attitude. Electric cut out in the sockets in the morning therefore was not able to use sockets until trip switch was put back on.

Probably the worst hotel in Bath, the rooms are awful, mould on the ceiling, plug sockets hanging off the wall.. Blood stained covers.. Bathrooms dirty , carpets ripped. If l could have checked out then l would have.. All backed up with photographs and l received a refund . booked through Booking.com . You park your car at your own risk , as it is that small cars must get damaged.. I would not use it.. Please think twice before booking you will be disappointed. There no falcilities the bar area used by staff and friends to eat there lunch / dinner at. .... Very very disappointing I have since learnt it is owned by the Salvation Army, hence the lack if investment .... Avoid !!!

I'm so glad I didn't see these reviews here before booking, my experience was different. My room was clean and had everything I wanted for the rest before returning back to wandering in the neighboughhood. And Bath has a lot to attract. So for sleep it was alright, good bed, great shower. My only problem was when I returned late and wanted a snack, bar had nothing except drinks, but I settled with the computer and glass of wine in the lobby and was very happy after a very tiring day. I should definitely return and recommend this place.

The room was dirty, the doors and wall in the bathroom had lots of dirt, the shower head was extremely dirty, the heavy curtain was dirty. I want to go to Bath again but definitely I won't book this hotel.

My main problem concerns the fact that we have a fairly large hotel in Bath with no car parking facilities - I know they say they have limited spaces available but actually you cannot get a space - if you did then you won the lottery. It would be more honest to say so rather than have a monotonic receptionist with limited knowledge of English giving an apologetic 'no', a response that he has obviously given many time previously, not even a map showing the nearest car park.
This is a hotel for a quick overnight stay, do not expect anything as good as a Premier Inn or Travelodge, as they say, remember this is Bath where everything is old & tired.
