We stayed here for one night in July and cannot wait to return. The location is very central, you can purchase either a parking permit for on the street for £5 or use a private hotel carpark at the rear for £12. Our room was classed as a small double but it was more spacious than my bedroom at home! Plenty of room, two bedside tables, wardrobe, gorgeous high ceilings, original features, lovely en-suite with great shower, lovely toiletries and home made biscuits and fruit! At breakfast, there was a selection of homemade gluten free jams, granola, cakes, patries, bread and a choice of salted or unsalted homemade butter! I tucked into the granola with fruit and toast etc and then the fabulously friendly waiter asked for our hot choice... I hadn't noticed the breakfast menu on the table which consisted of an organic English, omelettes with smoked salmon, soft boiled egg with bacon wrapped soldiers, homemade porridge, kippers etc etc. We were encouraged to order a first breakfast and were told they were relatively small portions so that you could order another and try something else! They weren't small portions and we didn't order anything else (although I would have loved to!) The staff were lovely, the service was great and the hotel was interesting, original, calming and quirky. Will definitely return if we go to Bath. Many thanks and keep hold of your lovely breakfast waiter - he was fab!

Room Tip: Our small double was perfectly adequate and a good price. I can only imagine the larger rooms were f...

This is probably the loveliest place I've stayed at. The room was perfect - spacious, cosy and beautiful. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was excellent. If I return to Bath I will stay there again!

Stayed here for one night and thought the hotel was lovely. Really good central location for walking to the shops/the abbey/the baths. Room was clean with good selection of toiletries, a TV, hair drier and complimentary biscuits (although not gluten free unfortunately as the little label said) and the bed was comfy. Slightly annoying shower and breakfast a little bit disappointing, my parents had stayed before and had built up how good the breakfasts were but we think they must have a different chef now. Bit strange having to do your own toast and track down a waitress to get hold of some butter as well. Overall really lovely though!

Lovely central hotel-lovely breakfast selection, large bedroom & bathroom overlooking the road frontage (which made for interesting viewing), friendly helpful staff. Easy walking into Bath with all its activities and eating places. Would recommend.

What a lovely place!
We enjoyed our stay very much at Henrietta House. Everything from check to check out was just perfect. Spotless clean, a big choice of quality home cooked, organic breakfast…and the homemade jams, granola, cakes….just heavenly. Very attentive and polite staff. They were very helpful and went out of their way when we needed some help - but on the other side knew exactly when we wanted to have our privacy. Just perfect! The most amazing thing … all the original paintings!! All of them are chosen and placed as if they were made just for Henrietta House. Thank you very much to all of you. We’ll be back 

My family and I just came home to Sweden from a visit in Bath were we celebrated my father in laws 60th birthday. We stayed at Henrietta House for 4 nights wich we all just love! The rooms are timeless and light and fresh, to make it even better there were amazing homemade cookies and fruit and access to WIFI in the rooms. The staff is really welcoming and there is nothing they wont do to make your stay wonderfull. The breakfast, you just have to try it, best i had in England! I truly recomend everyone to come and stay here, i know i will as soon as i can. Thank you! Emma with family

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) spent 3 nights at Henrietta House in June 2014. We stayed in the very spacious and comfortable Family Suite, which has a living area, bath, 2 bedrooms and a wonderful patio garden. Henrietta House is very well located on a quiet street just across the Pulteney bridge from the town center, a short walk from the baths and abbey. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We really appreciated the little touches such as the fruit bowl and fresh cookies in our room. Bath is beautiful and well worth a visit and Henrietta House is a wonderful accommodation choice.
