The room's pretty much a studio flat, and it's worth every single penny you spend. King size bed, couch, flat screen tv, small kitchen, spacious bathroom (huge shower box). Quiet during afternoon and evening... maybe a bit noisy in the morning, as windows are not double glazed.
Anyway, was perfect.

I must say that overall it was an excellent stay that my partner and I had, booking was straightforward and Arthur the hotel owner was very informative and gave us both a very warm welcome.

The location of Number 17 is ideal being just 5 minutes walk from the city centre and having free parking that not every business offers.

Modern, clean accommodation and we both had a very restful nights sleep, I would recommend Number 17 highly as it is very good value for money in an expensive city.

For a two night visit to Bath we stayed in the basement apartment of this well-placed house. Very comfortable and spacious and it felt much more like a temporary home than a place were you might be frightened to break something! Beautifully appointed and access from the apartment to a garden with excellent views of the city. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming, even though we turned up a little early and they were still in the midst of post-Bank Holiday cleaning. Everything worked, except a few bulbs in the bathroom. We would certainly stay here again and recommend the place to anyone who wants to be relaxed in their accommodation and not disturbed. The only small criticism and suggested improvement would be that if tea and coffee are being provided the coffee should be something superior to instant Nescafé and that the washing up liquid should better than the budget one! The latter was all the prevented an 'excellent' review.

Room Tip: The basement apartment, unless you want a bedroom view of the city.

We'll designed, clean and neat apartment with modern appliances. Free WiFi in room - minor glitch on this fixed without fuss. Parking easy though care needed in negotiating entrance. Nice five to six minute walk to city along pleasant streets.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have something different going for them

We have just arrived back from a lovely 2 night stay at Number 17, which we booked last minute. After reading reviews I was initially a bit worried that some aspects wouldn't live up to the description, but was pleasantly surprised and have very little to complain about. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the friendly owners who gave us information on the local area, which included a Tesco express 5 minutes up the road. We stayed in The Atrium apartment and were quite taken aback by the quality of the room, which was decorated to a high standard and was very much in keeping with the time period of the house. The conservatory 'Atrium' was really lovely to sit out in at sunny times of the day and although the bathroom was very small, the rest of the large room made up for it. Everything was very clean and contrary to other reviews there were no woodlice in the conservatory. The quality of the bed linen and mattress was really high, giving me the best nights sleep in a while. If you're worried about the room being on a main road, the curtains block out a considerable amount of road noise. My only advice would be that a long length mirror is needed, this could maybe be fitted inside the wardrobe door. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: Atrium conservatory is lovely in the sun

We booked a last minute trip to Bath and stayed in the Atrium apartment of this property.

It is a large, beautifully decorated room with a lot of character.
The bed is very comfortable and the room is very elegantly decorated.
The kitchen area had everything we needed and the ajoining conservatory was a lovely feature.

I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone and would love to come back for another stay.

Room Tip: Even though the Atrium room is facing the main road, it was still a very pleasant, quiet stay.

We had a lovely one night short break in Bristol. Very smart room and friendly reception from the owner/manager of accommodation. Only down side was small bath room and no dressing table or mirror to do hair or makeup that was anywhere near a plug. Feel that a small dressing table or a portable mirror is essential for most women in an overnight stay and could easily be added without spoiling the room. Otherwise the best bed ever and great bedding so soft and clean. Very close to bath centre.
