“Great Vegetarian Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2012

I went here today (30th August) with my daughter and 2 grandchildren (aged 4 and 22 months) using a Living Socials deal
It is a lovely place but there are steps to get down whch are a bit steep - not a place to go to if you have a pram and no extra hands. It does have a outside eating area.which is nice but its nicer to sit inside. There are plenty of chars and tables along with some sofas.
There are a great selection of flatbreads which are all baked on the premises. The toppings are really great as well - we had the Hey Pesto and it was wonderful. They are priced at £5.95 each (I think) There is a kiddy's flatbread which is tomato and mozzarella priced at £3.50.
There is a good selection of cold drinks, coffees and tea's. They do however only have one high chair so maybe a couple more would be good since quite a few families did come in and it did get busy.
They have a great selection of cakes - Matilda's Chocolate Cake and other cakes which looked equally as good...however, because I am on diet I didnt dare have any but next time I will!!
The cafe is easy to find since its near to all the main shopping areas.
Will defiantley go there again

“The Bath Chapel Arts Cafe Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2012

Be persistent in finding this darling cafe/restaurant because the vegetarian food even persuades the determined meat-eater. They make all their food on the premises and it is apparently all delicious. A really nice environment, exhibiting and selling stunning ceramics, you definately don't feel like you have to leave as soon as you've finished. A sweet little place with unique flavours and friendly, attentive service, an all round hit for me, I shall return certainly.

“Worth finding this little gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2012

Chapel Arts Cafe really is a hidden gem. The homemade flatbreads and cakes really set them apart from the rest. Having tried most the 'Welsh' (leek, goats cheese and chilli jam) flatbread and the carrot cake with dollop of cream are stand out for me.

The biggest problem is finding it - all I would say is persevere! When you see the church front it is the little set of steps to the left that lead down to the entrance to the cafe. It feels a bit like the art room at my old school with a kitchen! Eclectic, charming and uncomplicated - typically Bath.

The guys there are great - friendly and laid back but still really attentive.

When you consider the same old sandwiches and pastries available on the high street in Bath - Chapel Arts Cafe is a breath if fresh air.
