Met some American friends here for a meal. We didn't book a table and the pub was pretty busy but they managed to accommodate 8 of us for Sunday lunch which was great. Nice surroundings with quirky ornaments and art!
We all ordered a roast dinner (chicken or beef, with a veggie option too) and the beef was delicious, there was plenty of it too. It was served with roast potatoes, vegetables and a gorgeous gravy. All very tasty!
Some of the kids had a dessert (grasshopper pie) which they said was good too.
the beers, wines and cider was sampled by us all and we had a really good afternoon here.
