Super friendly staff, great location, clean, bed & pillows super comfy, decent shower & delicious breakfast. Would stay again.
Stairs to room not suited for frail or impaired.

Highly recommend dining at the Loch Fyne associated with hotel.

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town which is perfect for shopping, dining and a short walk
from the spa.

The in house restaurant was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated however it could have done with a little bit of updating. Overall though, Very pleased with the stay as we paid £85 on booking.com which included any breakfast of your choice, freshly cooked to order and this was very nice.

The only slight negative was the late check in of 3pm. We arrived at 2pm but we had to wait the full hour before we could leave our things in the room and freshen up. Also, our room was on the top floor which is a bit of a walk however we were aware of this so this was not an issue although I would advise you to request a lower floor if you have difficulty climbing stairs.

I would happily stay again.

Friendly helpful staff who made us feel welcome. Breakfast extremely good.

Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. The rooms are very warm and the noise from the street goes on all night.

The location in the center of Bath is excellent.

I would like to start with finding a hotel in the centre of Bath that will accomodate a one night stay on a Saturday night is very hard! The Milsoms Hotel does offer this and upon booking, the hotel states there are a number of stairs, no elevator, no Reception area and that the hotel is shared with the Loch Fyne restaurant.

Our room was at the top, number 9 and yes carrying luggage and climbing stairs is a challenge, but, you only carry the luggage up once and the staff did offer to assist.

I would agree that noise can be heard, but, you are in the centre of Bath and appreciate that on a Saturday night, there will be noise!

For value for money, the breakfast, the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the fantastic location - this hotel is marked as excellent for us.

Room Tip: Choose a lower floor, less stairs to climb. Check out best car park if you are bringing a car.

Booked using Laterooms.com and paid £65.00 for a double en-suite room. It is located very centrally above a Loch Fyne Restaurant (the group own the hotel). Reception is at the bar in the restaurant. There are only nine rooms and we were handed the key to room 9. There are steep stairs so definitely not for the infirm or elderly. The room was adequately spacious, clean and with some views over the City, Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was very good.
Parking is not easy and were directed to an expensive 24hr municipal car park. Take lots of coins because the meters do not take notes and the credit card option is by phone and complicated.

Stayed with friends while attending a wedding at the Roman Baths. Great location but terrible parking. Breakfast probably the best ever with everything freshly cooked. Now onto access and room. We stayed on the second of the 3 ladings room 5 on the left. 53 steep steps to the room NO ELEVATOR beware all you portly Americans. Room not laid out well and hardly enough room to ger around the bottom of the bed. Also lighting terrible, the wife gave me ear ach moaning that she could not see properly to do her hair and make up. No suitable mirror in the bedroom. Room town centre but noisey until 3.am when the Slug and Leuttuce eventually throws everyone out.
Bathroom small and shower.....well dont drop the soap or you have to get out to bend down and get it. im 6 feet tall and if you sit on the loo your knees burn on the radiator.
So very close to being great, I could put up with the stairs but th room layout costa dearly sorry because the rest is great.

Room Tip: Ask for landing one and go for the larger rooms, more expensive but worth it

Pros: central location, good price which includes breakfast, housekeeping were excellent, all staff v friendly & helpful, good quality food in the Loch Finn.
Cons: Noisy outside at night, lots of stairs, room was small (room 9 at the top), bathroom & general decor needs updating, 'fishy' smell in corridors from resterant.
