3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Location couldn't be better , hotel itself could do with a lick of paint and the stairs are very steep( but it's a listed building so to be expected). Room small and very average . All in all a comfortable nights stay.

Lovely old hotel in the middle of Bath. Rooms were beautiful and well worth the money to upgrade to a feature room. Stairs may cause a problem to those who struggle, but they are a nice feature to the hotel. Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice and excellent service. would definitely return.

Really central....could be some noise from the road due to central location, but did not bother us slept right through till morning! ( would suggest a touch up on the paint on the stairs, would not good for less mobile , steep stairs...Very welcoming and friendly............... and our room was great ( room 1) so easy to walk around Bath and just wander through the old streets and wonderful buildings back to our hotel....asked for early check in, not a problem very accommodating......I would also recommend the restaurant Lock Fyne! ....... Food was great, and again very welcoming more than value for money.....best place to park Charlotte street long stay just around the corner and easy to walk back to in the morning...from 11am till 12 noon the day after £14.20! ......... Will be returning soon for a shopping trip...to the same hotel!....did go to the Bath Thermal Spa? Was not that impressed to commercial....not what I call relaxing...and £72 for 2 , that was for the 2 hours......but the Hotel and wonderful meal made up for the disappointment ......would recommend :-)

Room Tip: First floor rooms are bigger.....and dearer but worth it....not sure I would of made the second floo...

No parking makes staying at Milsoms very difficult as I had to carry my bags 2 blocks up the road then up 2 flights of stairs. My customer service experience was poor and it took quite a while to check in after already booking online.

I must comment that the location is superb, breakfast was delicious and the room is nice although a bit small.

Super friendly staff, great location, clean, bed & pillows super comfy, decent shower & delicious breakfast. Would stay again.
Stairs to room not suited for frail or impaired.

Highly recommend dining at the Loch Fyne associated with hotel.

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town which is perfect for shopping, dining and a short walk
from the spa.

The in house restaurant was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and nicely decorated however it could have done with a little bit of updating. Overall though, Very pleased with the stay as we paid £85 on booking.com which included any breakfast of your choice, freshly cooked to order and this was very nice.

The only slight negative was the late check in of 3pm. We arrived at 2pm but we had to wait the full hour before we could leave our things in the room and freshen up. Also, our room was on the top floor which is a bit of a walk however we were aware of this so this was not an issue although I would advise you to request a lower floor if you have difficulty climbing stairs.

I would happily stay again.

Friendly helpful staff who made us feel welcome. Breakfast extremely good.

Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. The rooms are very warm and the noise from the street goes on all night.

The location in the center of Bath is excellent.
