“So good I ate there twice in one day”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

One burns a few calories exploring Bath. So I stopped for morning tea and had home-made special three beans 'baked beans' on toast, tea in a vintage pot, and scrumptious Victoria Sponge. Somehow I found my way back for a late lunch - the Welsh Rarebit brought back very happy memories of my Mum's cooking, and the Easter Tart was well worth indulging. Loved the 40s music. Excellent.

“I love the cheese scones”
Reviewed 17 April 2014

I enjoy coffee very much but after my first high tea experience at Bea's Vintage Tea Rooms, I must say I love tea too. I have never taste Earl Grey that good. The cheese scone was amazing and even better with creamy butter. The restaurant was full but we ended up sitting outside. We ordered the high tea and afternoon tea. It was enough for three of us.

“Best vintage tea in Bath”
Reviewed 12 April 2014 via mobile

As we were staying close to the Costume Museum, we decided to have breakfast at Bea's. Not only was the tea the best we found in the whole of Bath (the little timer was a nice touch), but the whole experience was very good. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and we wish we had returned the following day, instead of going to a more famous establishment. We were transported back to the 1940s and I found myself humming the tunes that were playing all day. Will definitely recommend for service, ambience and the best pot of tea in the city. Cakes looked fabulous, but as it was breakfast time, we didn't partake. Lunch menu very tempting, but we weren't in the vicinity at lunchtime - pity.

“Cream Tea!”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

We sheltered from a brief rain storm here and gained a few pounds in calories!
The cake was to die for and the scones with cream and jam were just beautiful.
The mismatch teapots, cups and saucers added to the charm.

A worthwhile mid-afternoon stop for anyone who is vaguely peckish!
