Myself and my missus came to Bath for a day last Sunday and we have decided to dine in this cosy French Bistro and we are so glad we did it. The food was excellent as well as the service which was impeccable. For starter we shared the king prawns and then for mains we had venison and fillet which were cooked closed to perfection. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Bath.

Dined at No5 Bistro on Thursday 21st August. There was a live jazz trio playing ( French Connection) which created a lovely atmosphere.

The food was tasty, well presented and served at a nice pace. Service was good and staff were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.

I found the menu had plenty of choice with the addition of specials to give lots of variety. The wine menu matched, with a good reasonably priced selection of Champagne, Red and white wines.

A great evening with good wine, good food and good company.

Small but special menu , reasonably priced wines, unobtrusive but helpful service and excellent food. I had the escargot and filet mignon. Tender and tasty. Reasonably price too.

Visited here on a random Monday night. It was very quiet, only a few other couples.
Went for the £25 a head menu, starter and main. Had the prawns in sweet chilli sauce, with spinach to start. Would rate the starter a 3/10 and can only describe it as an odd sauce - it definitely tasted of sweet chilli, but it was oddly creamy, not to my taste and like nothing I've ever had before.
Main was lamb - not bad but crispy on the outside like it had been cooked in a too-hot pan.
Venue looked a little cheap for the price of the menu.
Overall not impressed.

Me and my parents dined here three days ago. Staff was very pleasent and helpful. We chose crevettes, scallops and snails for starters - all of them very very delicious, and sauce for crevettes was fabulous. For dinner we ate fillet mignon, pork belly and trio of duck and it was the best choice ever! Everything was cooked wonderful and sauce was delicious.
We also strongly reccomend tarta tatin and creme brulee for dessert.
