Perfectly situated close to many places of historical interest including once residences of Lord Nelson & Ralph Allen also Bath Abbey.Groundfloor bar area is most pleasant ,quite recently updated with style. The upstairs dining area is spacious & well decorated I would recommend the window side which overlooks both magnificent architecture & the Parade gardens area. The staff both downstairs & up helpful, all this was rather let down by quite a long wait for just average food on a weekday evening that wasn't busy. However my colleagues, there were 14 of us,pretty much agreed we would give the Huntsman another opportunity to please us as we all enjoyed the ambience & view. It's worth mentioning there are a lot of stairs to the dining areas.

Nice clean pub very central to bath. Great selection of real ales as well as wines. Would happily come back.

They lost a point for the lack of a handle on the inside of the ladies loo. Otherwise perfect.

A lovely pub, interesting fresh decor, welcoming staff and good traditional food. Our meal there beautifully rounded off our day in Bath, I really recommend The huntsman pub

Lovely pub, welcoming staff. It was a lovely warm welcome with the log fire going. Not a huge menu, but the food was very good.

We called into this pub a few times whilst visiting Bath for the Christmas Market and even though it was busy managed to get a seat. We have been in here before a few years ago to eat and remembered it as a pub with sticky carpets. It has now been done out and is lovely with a relaxing cosy atmosphere.
On the Saturday night we were looking for somewhere to eat and to be honest were struggling because it was so busy everywhere. We popped in here and managed to get a table in the newly opened (previous Wednesday) restaurant upstairs. The food and service were excellent. The menu was quite limited particularly desserts but I think this was because they had only just opened. I would say give them a chance we loved it and will definitely be back next time we are in Bath.
