“Good stay in lovely b&b but a little pricey”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

Enjoyed a nice break at this lovely B & B in Bath. Shared a twin room for the weekend situated at the back of the house. Unfortunately because the weather was lovely our room was viewed from guests sitting in the garden, unless we pulled the blinds, to get changed/showered. All very quaint and perfect, breakfast was lovely best scrambled eggs I've tasted.
Although we had a lovely weekend on the whole we thought it was a little expensive for a bed and breakfast. This isn't a criticism of the b& b but it is a bed and breakfast.

We had a lovely stay at Gray's, it's a beautiful B&B and the breakfast was great. It's a bit of an uphill walk from the centre if you don't have a car, but a very luxurious stay which makes a change from hotel rooms. Unfortunately our TV didn't work and the wifi didn't work too well at the top of the house but overall a lovely stay.

We have just returned from spending two wonderful nights stay at Grays. I really cannot speak highly enough of it. Everything was pure perfection, from the sumptuous room we stayed in to the lovely staff. The only downside to staying here is that you just come home and want to redecorate your home just like Grays!!

This is a small luxury boutique, B&B. 15 min walk to everything in Bath City. We had a beautiful city view, from our very modern, room. Service was exceptional. Free Breakfast, WIFI & parking. The breakfast, as good as any top hotel, restaurant. I had Smoke Salmon, scrambled eggs, fresh brewed coffee, Juice, Toast, fresh fruit-Cereal bar. All fresh to order. They offer Full English breakfast, Eggs Benedict, all served in beautiful conservatory. Staff, were extremely friendly, helpful & attentive. They even allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot after we checked out & spent several more hours in the city. We would certainly, highly recommend this B&B/Hotel & will stay there again. F&R

We only stayed for one night but it will be more next time ! Very well finished property all in a very tasteful style. Location good if you don't mind a walk up and down the hill into town. Rooms pretty quiet after the last guest arrives back in the evening. Breakfast is included and is excellent.
The owners run the place and are very friendly , full of useful information and are true professionals.

Room Tip: It's quieter at the back of the building but the view isn't as good.

My wife, mother-in-law and I stayed at Grays in Bath and were amazed at how beautiful this place is. The outside facade of the building presents old world charm similar to the rest of the city of Bath. Once you cross the threshold into the B+B itself it is nothing but new world amenities and all the comforts of home. The rooms are quaint but perfectly sized for couples. The bedding is comfortable and great to curl up in after walking around town all day. The bathrooms are huge in comparison to most of the other hotels we have stayed in and the towel warmer is a great touch. We also used it to dry our bathing suits after we returned from the Bath Thermae Spa. If and when we ever come back to Bath we will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We had room #3 which was on the front of the house facing the town of Bath.

My wife and I stayed here overnight. When we arrived I was impressed with the building. As we were welcomed into the building I was impressed with the decor and how genuinely friendly the owners were. Nothing was too much trouble for them, the bedrooms were immaculate and modern while being homely. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of cooked meals as well as a selection of chopped fruit, cereals and yoghurt. This place gets full marks as there is nothing I can fault at all. When we return to this stunning city I will look nowhere other then this hotel as I will just be disappointed. Please try it for yourself!
