We had a fantastic meal at Claytons and our waitress couldn't have been better (thanks Milla) She was informative and helped us with our selections.
This is a great place for a nice meal out as a couple or group and the food is of a very high standard.

We turned up early with no reservation. Despite there being a sign saying fully booked we were able to get a table and were very glad. The waitress was really friendly, the food very tasty and it was reasonably priced.

This is our preferred lunch -time stop when we visit Bath. Good cooking ,friendly service & a nice wine. This year we have been fans of the lamb chops. Today they were smaller than usual & somewhat overcooked. The impression is that the chef is getting bored. Putting myself in his position I cannot blame him ,after all he has been repeating himself since April at the very least. Perhaps it is time to challenge him & his customers with radical change.
