This guest house was excellent! Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2012. Within easy commuting distance of the town centre (about 10 minute walk). Room was spotlessly clean and comfoftable - bed was made up each day. Breakfast was excellent (they even served French toast with Maple Syrup!). Hostess Rita was welcoming and informative. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Bath. This guest house well deserves its Four Star rating

We stayed two nights and I have no hesitation in recommending this Guesthouse. The walk into town is less than 10 mins either via the Cresent or quickly down the road.
Great welcome with a fresh coffee and biscuits, whilst providing information and recommendations as to what to see and where to go. Parking was easy enough with a permit provided and the walk to the car took only a few seconds as on side parking is not available.
The breakfast was a fabulous selection with fresh fruit and a choice of cooked items. Other guest sharing the big breakfast table provided great company with exchanging of trip information etc.
The room was comfortable and cosy, the facilities with nice touches and all in all clean.
Would definitely go again to this location. Thanks again to our host.

We stayed 2 nights in Crescent Guest House, Bath from 25/08/12.... It was a bankholiday weekend and so we booked very last minute... We didn't know what to expect as the price (90£ for twinroom with breakfast) looked very cheap compared to most in and around Bath...

The Room on the first floor was on the small side, the bathroom was very small aswell, but very well looked after. The decoration of the room was very pleasant. And for us personally the size of the room is only important if you would book a real hotelbreak but not a citytrip (as we are exploring the outside most of our time). The room was very clean....

Locationwise, the Crescent Guest House is absolutely marvellous.. between 5 and 10 minutes walk to all the attractions Bath has to offer....

Sunday morning we had breakfast between 8.30 and 9.30... little buffet with fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals, juices etc... Than the owner Rita asked what we wanted for breakfast, from smoked salmon to full English and everything in between... I must say, it was absolutely stunning and tasted divine. (Probably best bacon I have ever eaten in my life)

Last thing to mention is the very warm, wellcome and friendly service of the owner Rita... A lovely lady who clearly loves what she's doing...

If we would ever return to Bath, we would defenitely return..

Crescent Guesthouse is perfectly located, just a 2 min. walk from the Royal Crescent. The rooms are small, but very nicely decorated and have all the amenities I need: wifi, small bathroom, tea and coffee making facility with complimentary cookies, magazines and a flatscreen tv. Upon my arrival Rita the owner sat down with me and showed me on the map all the places to go and how to get there. She also gave me a parking permit so I could park without charge.
The morning breakfast was very nice; we all sat together at a large table and had a lively conversation. There were lots of things to eat, such as delicious fresh fruits, cereals, and upon order the whole English breakfast thing, or we could also choose smoked salmon. Compared to all the other hotels in Bath, this place is very reasonably priced (although I still think that all hotels and B&B's in the UK are way overpriced).

A very convenient location for visiting Bath. Everything is easily accessible on foot, and if you are travelling by train it's not too far from the station if you don't have much luggage.
We had a a double room that wasn't very big, however big enough for us. It was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom while small had everything we needed, including nice toiletries. The landlady is a good host and breakfast is wonderful with plenty of choice, including French toast &. Maple syrup (which I can highly recommend) and lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt.
I would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it.

Room Tip: We had a front room which overlooks a busy road, therefore there is traffic & late pedestrian no...

Very friendly lady of the house. She welcomed us with coffee, cookies and a lot of tips. Nice guest house, good breakfast and great location! You can do every thing by foot. If I need to give a comment it would be the road in front of the house. I would recommend this house to friends and family.

We chose this b&b for its fantastic price and it turned out to be much closer to the city centre than we thought, it's only 5 minutes away from anything, no hills involved, which is surprising for Bath! The guesthouse is very well looked after, everything was extremely clean and the room was comfortable, with everything we needed. Breakfast was included and delicious - it does take place on a very large table where all guests congregate during the only hour that breakfast is served. It was fine for us and I thought it would be ideal for anyone who is travelling alone and wants some company, as it does feel that you're in your own home in Bath. But I suppose it may not suit those who want to be left alone or enjoy their privacy.

The only thing we did not like was that, at the end of a truly lovely visit, we were told by the owner that, although she doesn't always charge a 2.5% fee for credit card payments (like other b&b owners in the same neighbourhood, she said), she was going to charge us. A pity.
