“Pleasant stay”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

Stayed here for a family weekend break, well located and all obviously brand new, lovely big family room for once! Staff welcoming and friendly. Reception was missing the usual stand of places to visit etc which hopefully they will get round to having as it's very useful for visitors, though they did tell us how to find the tourist info centre. The attached restaurant looked really nicely done but our evening meal was a bit hit and miss, think the staff are still very new and there didn't seem to be anyone in overall charge, wouldn't say we were really looked after, it was ok but there are lots of places around to eat and as nobody was able to organise the usual "meal deal" for us there was no real advantage to eating there. Also we were seated close to the entrance and it was really cold, had to go and get a fleece half way through! Breakfast was good, nicely set out and tasty, room a lot warmer in the morning too! We would probably stay again as the room was the nicest we have had in a premier inn so far.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and well equipped. Heating which could be self regulated was a plus. Room was really quite. No outside noise or from neighbouring rooms. Curtains provided a good black out. Choice of pillow hardness/softness. Parked for free in a side road about 10 minutes walk away. Location is great. Will be staying again.

Great Location for shops/restaurants etc. For parking we used the parkatmyhouse.com, £13 from Friday to Sunday!! Just a 10 min walk from where we parked - Thoroughly recommend it! Great weekend visiting the Bath Christmas Markets.

Great nights sleep in comfy bed. Very quiet. Great situation for walking into Bath and right next door to cinema. No parking available and car parks expensive in Bath. Good value. Would stay here again.

Enjoyed a two night stay before Christmas in this new hotel very close to the centre of Bath. Although there is no car parking on site this didn't matter to us as we arrived early by train and left our luggage in reception before returning about 4.00 - to a little chaos at the reception desk. It took some time to check in -new hotel blues - but staff were helpful and offered us a complementary drink whilst problems were sorted.

Room were clean and tidy, breakfast busy on one day but not the other. Breakfast was good - again tidy, hot, and stocked up. Staff eager to please.

We had an evening meal and drinks on our second night in the linked restaurant - served by a very helpful and accommodating member of staff (Jack) who even joined in briefly our singing game.

The hotel is next to a Wetherspoons pub and a cinema. The Spa is just 5 minutes walk.

Recommended - look out for special offers.

Room Tip: Consider going by train. Visit the Tourist Info - there is a free two hour tour from near the Baths...

The staff were very professional and courteous. As the hotel is new, the room was in very good condition. As the room was very spacious, there was a chaise lounge in the room! The bed was very comfortable and soft to sleep on (not everyone will like a soft bed). During the night, the heater did turn on by itself and when it was turned off, it magically turned itself on again. It was a bit stuffy during the night but it was bearable. The hotel is easy to find and is very central. The nearest car park to the hotel for overnight parking is Charlotte Street which is about 5-8 minutes walk.

Stayed here for one night for the weekend of the Christmas markets. Booked 2 twin rooms for myself and 3 friends. Hotel is in an excellent location, close to shops and tourist attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a nice size, clean and well equipped. Bar is reasonably priced. A great stay for a great price! Cannot recommend this place enough!
