“Bath night”
Reviewed 1 March 2014

In Bath for a weekend break and Masonic function, my wife booked this so that we could see the sights before going off to a formal Dinner Dance outside the town.
Our room was large and furnishings looked new. We were at the back of the hotel so were not bothered by noise from the busy street at the front. The staff at reception were friendly and cooperative, no problem leaving bags before booking in or after booking out. Will definately stay here if visiting Bath again. We did not eat in the restaurant as there were lots of cafes for breakfast and restaurants for dinner in the town.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Bath Premier Inn for a short break. We stayed with our two children (a baby & a five year old) and found the room to be spacious & comfortable for our stay. The cot & spare bed were set up ready for us as requested without any fuss. As the hotel is very new, the room was in a very good, modern, clean condition.

The hotel is in a great location, it is a quick walk from the train station & all the attractions of Bath city. We coped well walking with our luggage from the station & the hotel very kindly stored it for us on the last day after checking out.

We ate in the restaurant one night as part of the meal deal, and enjoyed our meal. There was plenty of choice for everyone, including vegetarians & children. The breakfast was good value as our children ate free. They also offered vegetarian sausages as part of the menu.

Overall, we had a great stay and found the staff to be very helpful & friendly. We would go back to this hotel.

Stayed for the Sat' and Sun' nights, wanted somewhere central to the Roman Spa, knew what we would get from Premier Inn, and not only did they meet our expectations they exceeded them The staff were lovely. Only comment would be that the restaurant seemed quite chilly in the evening. But having said that the food was great, room was great, and the staff, as I said were, fantastic.

Ideal location for walking around Bath City centre. Rooms clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value breakfast. Come by train as parking a car is expensive. Station 5 mins walk away.

Very disappointing and not at all like previous Premier Inn experiences. The dining room was almost empty on our first night so we were shockedwhen it took 2 and a half hours to have dinner. The food was ok but the service.... We had also paid for a meal deal which includes dinner so were very surprised at the end of the meal to be presented with a bill for the full ammount . The staff had difficulty in sorting this problem out. We found our room far too hot even though we turned the heating off. Hopefully these minor faults are only teething problems as the hotel is new as are the staff. Don't arrive expecting to park at the hotel as the parking is restricted to 2 disabled spaces. The nearest carpark you are only allowed 4 hours. So the Southgate multi story is the best option about half a mile away though this is fairly expensive £18.50 for 2 days. Bath is awonderful City hope this hotel improves soon.

The Premier Inn Bath City Centre is well placed for visiting the key attractions. It is important to deposit your luggage at the Inn before parking your car at Southgate Car Park, so that you don't have the inconvenience of walking with it. Similarly, it is best to leave the luggage with the staff after checkout, so that you can pick it up after collecting your car.
