“Great city-centre hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

We spent three nights here in August 2014. The location is perfect, being just over the road from the lovely Kingsmead Square and the Theatre Royal. The hotel is under ten minutes' walk from the station and a mere five minutes from the Roman Baths and the Abbey. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, as always. The room was spotless and the spacious bathroom was lovely - indeed, the bath taps were the fastest we'd ever experienced, filling the bath in about one minute! Our only slight niggle was that it would have been good if the air conditioning could have been set down to 16C or 17C at night - the lowest possible setting was 19C. The restaurant looked very nice - though we didn't avail ourselves of it on this visit. A further benefit was the branch of Wetherspoons right next door. We will definitely come here again.

Room Tip: Room 122 was great, and I guess any room between about 120 and 125 would be equally good. It's v...

I have never had a bad experience in a premier Inn and this has been no exception! The staff were friendly from check in and were only too happy to help with an iron. The bed is the comfiest i've ever stayed in and it's fantastic to have air conditioning in a city hotel as it can be noisy outside and often the windows don't open enough. Looking forward to coming back. The only thing that could be improved on is I think that for £134 a night free wifi would be acceptable as the half an hour free wasn't massively useful.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014. The hotel is perfectly situated within the city centre. The staff are very proffessional and polite with nothing being too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. We ate in the restaurant whlist we were there and enjoyed the food. The only down side for us was the lack of parking, we parked in the town centre multi storey which is only a ten minute walk away. it is expensive though at £13.50 for 24 hours. We would stay here again if we decided to go back to Bath.

very good hotel and location. Family room was small but workable. The biggest issue was wifi - 30 min free was useless. Would have been helpful if we could have checked in even an hour early as we had arrived from an overnite flight. But really had a good stay

The only thing we regret about this hotel is only staying for one night. Absolutely everything else was just brilliant!

The hotel itself is virtually brand new, I think it was less than a year old in August 2014, so all of the facilities are immaculate. The rooms, naturally, as it's a Premier Inn, are very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The the staff were always obliging. But most importantly for a city break, the location is within a 5/10 minute walk to everything of high interest in Bath!

Spent two nights here. Staff very helpful and nice room. Came on train and short cab ride to hotel. Good location for touring the sights. Plenty of places to eat in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on a hen do. It was clean and hassle free checking in. The hotel was central which was helpful.
The staff were helpful and allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel after our checkout time which was really helpful .
