We chose The Henry because it was close to the train station. We were delighted by our room and loved the atmosphere of the place. Colin was very helpful and we wished we could have stayed another night!

We arrived in Bath on a beautiful and busy weekend without a reservation and happened upon the Henry on our way to the Tourist Info Center from the station. We couldn't have been luckier or happier. The Henry is a beautiful old building with lots of luxurious touches, a friendly staff, yummy breakfast and in a perfect location.

Lovely townhouse with loads of character from the building to the staff... The full English breakfast was excellent, with Continental choices, too. Centrally situated, so everywhere walking distance, but also a good bus service.

Room Tip: Rooms are upstairs with no lift - was a bit noisy outside during the night

We chose this B&B because of the recommendation we saw in our Rick Steve's guidebook. It was a very accommodating and well located inn. We could walk to all of the attractions we wanted to see. Breakfast was delicious. Colin had helpful suggestions for our sightseeing and the inn is within a mercifully short walk from the train station.

Room Tip: Lots of steps, no lift. Turn right when leaving the front door and you are a block away from grocer...

The only negative here is the lack of luxury in the room. This is to be expected for a building built in 1726! but the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast, and location far outweigh the luxury deficit.

Service, value, and location get 6 or more stars (off the scale!), so my overall rating tops the five star balance. By the time we left I counted the staff as personal friends.

Room Tip: No elevator so pack light if you have a room on an upper level.

From checking in to checking out, he service from staff was fabulous - nothing was you much trouble and it was a pleasure to chat to the lovely team \during breakfast each morning - the guest house is is so close to all the major activities and everything is walking distance. Th breakfast is fabulous and special mention to the little hidden surprises in your room to make you feel welcome - chocolates on your pillow and special decorated toilet tissue!

Could walk to anywhere we wanted to go from this beautiful B&B! This was perfect for our family of 4 (room with 1 double + 2 twin beds): lovely room!
We were warmly welcomed by Jacka, and she offered great suggestions for dinner and directions to find destinations. Colin serves a great breakfast, and is a fun person to speak to, too.
FYI: restaurants generally stop serving at 21:00, but we had a good "pub meal" at Sam Wellers Pub, who served later.
