We really enjoyed our stay at Chestnuts! It had a great central location (just 10mins from the city centre) and the rooms were large but cosy. If we had any questions they were quickly answered and they recommended some great pubs for dinner. We would definitely book Chestnuts again.

All you could want from a B&B, great location, friendly and efficient host, spacious room with quality furnishings, fantastic shower and a great breakfast, we’ll definitely be back for more.

We chose Chestnuts House as a base for our Christmas shopping trip to Bath. Having never been to the city, we selected it purely based on their (very nice) website. We were not dissapointed. The whole place is beautifully done, with lots of little touches that put it a long way ahead of some other guest houses we've stayed in. We stayed in the twin room, and it was a little haven to come back into after a long day shopping in the cold! Breakfast was delicious, and we couldn't have asked for more from our hosts.

For a city break, the location is perfect, very easy walking distance to the centre, and it was lovely to be able to park the car and not worry about it for the rest of the trip. We are hoping to make our pre-Christmas trip an annual event, and wouldn't think of staying anywhere but Chestnuts.

Wonderful hospitality and a warm welcome from Toni , great location, beautifully decorated and clean room (no hideous flowery chintz in sight!), yummy breakfast, good value for money... what more could you ask for?! This was an excellent alternative to overpriced and old fashioned hotels with little personalised service. Our room was so nice that were tempted to just stay in and lounge around!... Luckily, the centre of Bath was only a short 10 minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Chestnuts House again!

We have just returned from Bath stayling at the Chestnuts for 2 nights Toni and his wife made us very welcome and we could not fault the rooom which was very comfortable and the breakfast great. Chestnuts being only 10 mins walk from the centre of Bath makes it very convenient for eating and taking in the beautifull city of Bath. We are planning to vist again in the new year.
