“Fathers Day Lunch”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

I was in Radstock visiting family for weekend , mum had booked us into The Radstock Hotel for Sunday Carvery to celebrate Fathers Day
We had a choice of three meats and various vegetables, the meal was very average. Vegetables cooked but not even warm.
The lady dressed in black was a dragon to be polite she was responsible fir serving and carving of meats, as well as snapping at the customers on her way.
My family continue to enjoy this venue and it is value for money, but customer service very poor..
I won't darken their door again . Venue tired need a facelift.

Room Tip: Try to avoid the wicked witch if the west serving you from the Carvery

We arrived around 6 after a day sightseeing in Bath, wonderful room on top floor, no. 11 very clean and lovely big bathroom. We ate in hotel, good food and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast also very good.

Room Tip: Room 11 was love Y and away from bar noise.

Have to admit when i walked into the entrance/pub my first thought was "oops what have i booked" however the staff were all very friendly. My Room was on the top floor. It was clean, tidy and furnished very well. For £80 a night inc breakfast for 2 people i thought it was very reasonable. I will be staying here again next time im in the area

Stayed here for two nights and had a very pleasant stay. Only downside was that the room was a little noisy from the bar but otgerwise very happy. Comfortable bed, HUGE portions for dinner. Worth alook on a budget.

We stayed one night only in the four poster bedroom. I don't want to criticize the place because we only paid £70.00 for the room and breakfast. Everyone was really friendly and were really helpful. There was a few things including quite a few ladybirds in the room in the morning. We did mention the ladybirds to the guy at breakfast who thanked us and would get it sorted.

I had a good time whilst staying at this hotel. Staff were really friendly and the room really comfortable and large. Food also tasty and the parking was fine. Bath itself is terrific - although very hilly!!

This was my first trip to Radstock, & was booked into the main hotel in the town. I had a large room, number 1, which had a MASSIVE four-poster bed in, large ensuite bathroom & plenty of space to rattle around in.

Comfy, if a little cold in the February night, but very good all-round.

The pub downstairs had a great selection of beers, wines & spirits, with a spacious restaurant. the staff were polite, welcoming & very helpful, & nothing seemed to be too much bother for anyone.

Parking a-plenty, off the main road, & the location is smack in the middle of town.

The only thing that let it down was the room decor, & a touch of damp on the walls; this is a very old building however, so it ought to be expected, but it does knock a point off for me.

Room Tip: Room 1 is massive!!
