I stayed here in early July 2014 with my son. We found our twin room (rm 2) to be perfectly adequate, clean & well appointed, nice touch of toiletries in the bathroom, which you would normally expect of a hotel rather than a B&B. Julie the proprietor was very friendly and welcoming, happy to chat and ask about our day. Bath is a beautiful city, and Avon is a great place to use as a base whilst here, within walking distance of all the attractions, and only a 5 min walk from the train station too, so very well located.
I should say the breakfasts were great too, had a full cooked English breakfast on the first morning, which was lovely and filling, so we decided to go for the "lighter" option of pancakes the next morning, which were new to the menu..having trialled them I can confirm they were lovely. Fresh & tasty, and still filling!
Many thanks to Julie & staff for their hospitality, would not hesitate to recommend and/or stay here again on any return to this lovely part of the worldMore
