Revisit 12 months on after a wonderful meal and attentive service made us resolve to make this an annual trip when visiting the Bath Christmas Markets.
Very cosy, music maybe a bit too loud, food served almost instantly and there was a definite feeling of being rushed which reduced enjoyment levels.
Food amazing, marinated olives best we’ve ever had, with notable commendations for the tempura aubergine and garlic mushrooms. Maybe won’t have the wilted spinach with pine nuts next time.
On collecting plates, waited banged the uneven table resulting in the red wine bottle spilling a glass full on the floor. All cleaned up with no apology or offer to replace, took the gloss off really. Didn’t say anything as to be honest we’d probably had enough wine and the general feeling was that we’d finished and it was time to go. Shame, but the food and setting still warrant a good mark.
