We found this restaurant after visiting the Roman Baths. I had the tomato basil soup and it was delicious! The buns, of course, were fluffy and rich. Overall, I enjoyed the meal very much and would go again!

What temptations do we have hiding behind this entrance.
The smells draw one into this very special delight. Unique to the City of Bath. Very tasty with a pot of English Breakfast Tea.

Hubby and I were expecting only mediocre food in this historic eating establishment, and were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the "beef trencher," a large half-bun covered in a beef mushroom stew which had been simmered for hours to perfection, and there was a lot of very tender beef in it. Alongside were perfectly steamed green beans, broccoli and carrots, i.e., not overdone but al detente just the way they should be. Ambience is "dark pub" and charming. We were there at 2-3 p.m. and recommend going
off hours as this is a very popular place with a small museum.
Our waiter was friendly and attentive but not hovering. We chatted with 3 students from Australia and Canada and had a thoroughly wonderful time!

Small but nice place with museum of Sally Lunn's. If you are visiting to bath, please visit this place for tea, high tea or cream tea; must try Bunn speciality of this place. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

My wife had a Sally Lunn bun with lemon curd and tea. I had coffee with an apricot brownie. Delicious dining a great lunch but the little dining room is so cramped that it borders on the uncomfortable
