“LOVED THIS PLACE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

Visited this place last year with some friends, and what a lovely, quaint old fashioned pub, with a good choice of ciders and very good pub grub. The bar staff were very friendly, chatty and amenable.Be aware though, this is not a big pub,so it does fill up quickly, visited here again one Saturday afternoon in February, and could not get in the door it was so busy. But if you are visiting Bath,do make sure you visit here,it will be really worth it.

“A gem of a pub with Real Ale and a varied menu.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

We had a leaflet in our hotel advertising this pub.As a lover of real ales we searched it out using the map on the leaflet and found it easily..The x2 Raven ales we tried are superb and are highly recommended..There are a host of other local ales on offer but as we were there at lunchtime I'd reached my limit..We tried the Pate with bread & salad which was a huge plate full and went down a treat. There's a blackboard on the wall which features a variety of dishes including veggie, pies and pasta as well as some more substantial..The staff are really friendly and the pub itself has bags of atmosphere...We will definitely make a beeline for the pub the next time we're in Bath..

“Top pub in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014 via mobile

Beautiful old building with proper pub inside, impressive range of ales and ciders with new guest ales frequently. Bar staff reliable for a good chat too! Tables downstairs a bit short for eating food but there's taller tables in the upstairs bit. Recommended!

“Excellent.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014 via mobile

Myself and a group of friends went to this pub on an evening out.
It's a little traditional pub serving real ales and ciders. Their menu is an assortment of pies served with chips or mash and a gravy of your choice. Very basic but wow, very tasty.
The atmosphere was great, got chatting to a Canadian couple who had been to The Raven a couple of times whilst visiting Bath to sample the pies.
The staff in The Raven were great and couldn't do enough to provide us with a great service.
Will be going back for sure.

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

Tucked away just off Quiet Street, the Raven is a great iittle pub serving well kept real ales - 6 on when we visited - and the most delicious smelling pies and mash - didn;t eat there as we'd already eaten, but next time.....
