Service and decor is all very pleasant however every dish we had was bland and had no hint of Indian spices. We mentioned to the waiter that we were used to more flavour and he responded by giving us a bowl of curry sauce - which also had no flavour but just a lot of chilli. Very disappointing given the glowing reviews posted here, but perhaps we are used to a different level of flavour than other customers. The waiter said 'English people don't like a lot of flavour'...

The Naan also was doughy and unlike any naan we've ever had before.

Go to a pub instead.

This restaurant was recommended by a local. We've been twice and have been satisfied both times. The food is delicious and the staff is attentive and courteous. The Alu Chaat is a great starter. Other favorites include the Asari Bhuna Gosht and the Jera Mussla Chicken. The nan is hot and fresh. Our only quibble is that while the starter and entree portions are generous, the pulao rice serving seems small for the price. But that won't keep us away! We'll be back soon to try something new.

Saw the advert board outside and for £7.50 for 3 courses thought it was worth a go.

4 choices of starter, 6 mains and ice cream or coffee to finish.

I expected small portions as it was a lunch deal but was mistaken.

Chicken tikka starter was 3 big pieces of chicken, bowl of salad and small bowl of mini yogurt - chicken korma had 4 large pieces of chicken with plenty of sauce in an individual metal bowl with an individual platter of rice. Coffee very nice to finish.

Staff were attentive and were always about to check you were OK but not in your face.

Very impressed and am looking forward to returning.

This is a lovely cosy restaurant but sometimes with a vibrant atmosphere. Staff are kind and courteous. Food is delicious. pricing is reasonable with a large meal for 2 plus drinks for GBP40.

Discovered this restaurant by chance . Not very noticeable unless you know the place . Very welcoming staff . The decor is elegant and indian traditional though the space is a bit cramped as there are separate booths for tables . Food was amazing and generously portioned . I would go there again and can recommend it to others .
