Absolutely everything you could want. Comfortable, immaculate, and all home from home comforts, the Dairy Barn is the best we have stayed at... and an excellent base for travelling round the area.!! Cheddar gorge on the doorstep and Wells on the second step!! The owner Helen,is so helpful and she has an extremely high standards.
Will recommend this to friends and will be top of the list when we come back for a return visit.

“Lovely property, well equipped, easy booking process, loved it!”

We were visiting family in the local area and this property was ideally located.

The property is set out in a upside down nature to make the most of the views. There is a large living room/kitchen upstairs with a glass fronted balcony with seating which has stunning views.

There are two x two seater sofas and two more formal chairs in the living area, TV with freeview which turns on an arm so you can see it fully in the living or dining area. My only observation is that there could do with being a couple of comfortable chairs or a further sofa as if 6 people are staying the living room area is limited on seating.

There are also books, games and jigsaws for all ages.

The kitchen has everything you need and is very well equipped- every utensil pot and pan thinkable, large toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, microwave,... The list goes on!!

The barn was warm and clean with the odd mark or scuff but nothing that in any way affected our stay.

One double bedroom is upstairs which is comfortable and again well equipped with access on to the balcony. The only thing I would change is the plastic undersheet which was noisy and hot and we were there in minus 2 temperatures outside! So in summer this would be unpleasant.

Downstairs there is a fully equipped laundry room, two bedrooms - one twin and one super king which can also be a twin. Again both rooms are well equipped. Each bedroom also has colour coded towels which is a really good idea.

There is one bathroom which was clean with lots of towel rail and cupboard space. The shower worked really well and again everything you needed was provided. The only downside is this is the only toilet and if 6 people are staying it can be a little congested but with a bit of consideration and organization this didn't cause problems with the 4 of us who stayed.

I would without hesitation stay here again. It is a lovely property and perfectly located for exploring cheddar, Glastonbury, wells, street, western super mare and all of the surrounding areas. Also the owner was welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Finally the booking process was easy and pain free.

Communication for booking is quick.
The 2 Parrots and Mrs Dance give you a warm welcome.
It's Spacious, fully equipped, peaceful and instantly comfortable.
Special features we liked are that it's an upside down house with long balcony, nice views into the distance and abundant outdoor seating.
The nearby Wells Rd has a lively roadside 'Barn' Pub and 2 roadside fruit and veg Farm Shops.

“Absolutely amazing”

The diary barn is a great place and Helen the owner was as helpful as could be. I would recommend to anyone and the price is extremely cheap. The facilities and setting are great and definitely has that wow factor to it. The place was very clean, modern and on a whole a definite go to place for anyone thinking about going. The actual diary bran was well equipped to a high standard with everything you could want I will definitely be back…

“comfortable, welcoming and clean”
Reviewed 13 August 2011 for a stay in June 2011

we enjoyed a lovely weekend as a family at The Barn. The place was welcoming and comfortable and had everything you need for a short stay for six people. Maybe could have done with another toilet and shower, but we managed.
