What a lovely place! Away from the main high street so nice and quiet. Pretty garden to sit in . We had Cream Tea, choice of 2 ( basically 1 scone or 2) , lovely jam and plenty of cream , plus do decaf tea!

Excellent service!

Thoroughly enjoyed our walk to the mill, it was a beautiful day and the mill seem to bask in the sunshine. We sat for some time drinking in the beauty and the peacefulness of the area. and to listen to the stream tinkling by and to glorious bird song, WONDERFUL. Not to be missed when you visit Dunster.

As you enjoy the walks around Dunster Castle it is easy to be drawn to the Water Mill Cafe in its beautiful setting. The blackboards outside look enticing, the food inside isn't. Two small bits of quiche, salad garnish and a couple of cold drinks - £18. My advice, walk into town, there are plenty of places to eat there and far better value. Great location, guaranteed passing trade, most of whom are unlikely to return...............and don't they know it.

Located in a really pretty location. You can also buy some flour ground on the premises. The building is very old and does require some climbing up steep s.tairs

I can't imagine a more beautiful setting in which to eat a cream tea! A lovely romantic garden with mature trees, a stream running through it, flowers, butterflies and a friendly robin. Set below the fairy tale dunster castle it's convenient for a wander around those lively gardens as well. Warm, freshly cooked scones with clotted cream and jam, top quality and an absolute bargain, this time it was I think £11 for two. We have been coming for years and never had a problem with the service which we've always found prompt and pleasant. It is a working mill and we have bought really nice oats and muesli here.
