A marvellous national trust property with lovely gardens terraced walks and plenty of historic artifacts to enjoy as you tour the rooms. The gunnera plants in the garden were superb examples. The house is a maze of rooms both left as state and family. The views from all the rooms are tremendous and the village of dunster is also a delight. The best refreshments are down at the watermill as the terrace cafe is only small. Dogs are allowed in most of the gardens on a lead
