“Nice collection of dolls”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

I visited this Doll Museum today and it was nice looking at the collection of dolls as I remember some from my childhood. I was expecting to see some victorian dolls amongst the collection, but most of the dolls didn't appear to be that old. It is free entry and relies on donations and volunteers to keep the museum open, so it is worth popping in to have a look around and support them. They need to take a bit more care in the information cards displayed though, as a lot had grammatical errors.
An added bonus if you visit this museum is that you can get free wifi - I couldn't get a mobile signal at all in all of Dunster, so it was good to be able to send a message to let my sons know how long I'd be there for.

“Magic ..childhood relived”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

My family and I visited the Dunster Memorial Hall that houses a lovely collection of dolls of every size, shape, and age. They are beautifull cared for and displayed. From very old dolls to modern dolls its a huge collection. There is also an embronic museum of artefacts from Dunster. We were able to have a lovely cup of tea and used the Museums WiFi (free) and a very smart new toilet which was most usefull as we have 18month old twin boys and the baby changing facility was great and spotless. Lovely heartwarming visit on a wet, miserable day. Susie Pike

“Hardly Noticeable”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

You walk pass a row of shops and you wont notice there is a museum. Walk inside its only a room full of dolls. Sadly it looks run down. Think these days not many people interested in dolls anymore. Need more people to visit n make donations if this place wanna keep going.
