“Great property, fantastic location”
Reviewed 28 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Damson Cottage is a great property in a fantastic location. It is full of character, very clean, well equipped and much larger than it appears from the outside - plenty of room for 6 people to spread out. The garden is lovely too, though the British weather in June meant we didn't have much opportunity to use it.

Dunster is a lovely village. Plenty of places to eat and drink (particularly recommend the Stag's Head), plus ample shopping 'opportunities'. Lots of walks (short and long) direct from the door, from the very pleasant village walk to the more challenging Black Hill/Bat's Castle circuit (very well way-marked). Recommend a trip to Dulverton, the perfect English small country town.

“Nice cottage in lovely village”
Reviewed 3 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We had a lovely stay with our friends and children in this cottage. The cottage is is very nice, clean, has enough space and had all equipment that we needed (kitchen, wifi). It also has a very nice garden in the back that we used during the sunny days of our stay. The village is really beautiful and has lots to offer for a couple of days. With Exmoor on one side and the see on the other there is plenty of activities in vicinity. Both village and this cottage are highly recommended

“Lovely Place”

A fine cottage, handy for the whole of Dunster, and local places via the private railway. Had an enjoyable weekend, when the weather was nice and we could go round the castle.

“Fantastic cottage with everything you need. Definitely recommend to everyone!”
Reviewed 20 September 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Had a brilliant stay at Damson Cottage!

Had books and toys for the kids in a separate room adjoining to the living room which was great; a highchair and travel cot - exactly what we needed.

There was bags and bags of charm and the location was perfect for a wander into Dunster to all local amenities.

Lovely well proportioned rooms and kitchen filled with everything you need.

Enjoy visitors xxxx
