We were booked in to the Yarn Market Hotel last week for one of their self guided walking holiday packages along the South West Coast Park. The week was organised to perfection and i had such a fantastic experience which i cannot wait to repeat. The staff at the Hotel were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble, the food was superb, room was clean and comfortable and the location was just perfect. The Hotel organises the week to include transport to and from the daily linear walk, a very knowlegeable friendly guide for each day, a packed lunch and they also meet us along the way with hot coffee. It was truly a week to remember for all the right reasons!

Another lovely break at the Yarn Market Hotel. We went for the Spring Gala on the West Somerset Railway & to walk in the country. The hotel is perfect for both - even offering minibus rides to Dunster train station for anyone who didn't want to walk there. Great cooked to order breakfasts & comfortable rooms. We'll be back.

We stayed here for three nights in February on a three for two DBB deal. The hotel was very quiet, due to the time of year. The location in the centre of Dunster was superb. The room was not a bad size, and was adequately equipped. ( a view of the Yarn Market would have been nice!). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We immediately found that we could get no mobile phone reception (Vodafone!!), but were able to borrow a PAYG mobile from reception, and had only to pay for the calls made. The Wi-Fi was good (this hasn't always been our experience elsewhere). The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options. We had three great dinners. There were also a couple of local beers and ciders on offer, as well a a small wine list. For the price we paid it was excellent value. At full price I guess it would have been a the top end of the price range or this type of accommodation. However we will probably go back

Room Tip: Get a view of the Yarn Market

Went for dinner as a group of 8 for dinner. Really good value. We had the dunster by candlelight meal which was a good deal. Service was OK well priced and accompanied by a harpist. Slightly cramped as it was a bit full but overall a good deal.

This was a very much needed 2 day break ! with my cousin . The Hotel staff were welcoming and friendly , there were notices around to say refurbishment in progress , but never affected are stay , are room ( no 22) I can say was very comfatable and clean on suite was spotless . My cousins reason for this trip was to experience the warmth of the people towards adult learning difficulties which we can say couldn't of been any better or any more helpful ! .
The dining room was spotless and service to match .
Looking forward to staying again .
