We broke our journey to Woolacombe in this lovely medieval village. After a walk around the Castle, dovecote, tithe barn and dodging MAMIL's (middle aged men in lycra) cyclists on a cross country race. The Castle tea rooms came into sight.
We went for the cottage pie, plaice & chips from specials board in their colourful courtyard garden. Good food and friendly service, meals were served hot, £,6.95 each.
My favourite thing, a pot of tea for 2 and was plenty to refuel us for the next part of our journey.
