One of those gems you want to rave about but at the same time want to keep to yourself because its so good. Stayed 12th April 2014, rm 5. Furnishings bit dated but this gives character to the property. Amazingly clean !! & bed comfortable. Couldn't fault the attention we received & the fantastic choice available for breakfast. We ate there in the evening, food amazing, ( large portions). Walking distance to town, chalice well & tor. Very friendly proprietors who are dedicated to their guests. We will book again. This restaurant is only open at weekends. It is run by the chef and his wife so is quite a small business. The evening we went there were no other outsiders in the restaurant though a resident was also eating there. The choice of Tapas was good and there was a limited choice of main courses. The standard of the food was good and well presented. The room used was quite cold so we had yo move tables to be near the radiator. If you like Spanish food and can manage a small restaurant it can be recommended.

Had wonderful evening at 1Park Terrace, can't believe we haven't discovered this little gem before as it's right on our doorstep! Friendly, warm and attentive welcome, set in a beautiful home. I chose tapas and loved every bit of it! King Prawns, Sprats and Anchovies. There was plenty of choice on the tapas menu and also various other main dishes to choose from. I was pleased to see my favourite dessert on the menu, creme brûlée, which was so creamy and the best I've tasted! Can't wait to go back to try out Ramons paella. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

I organised a dinner for 16 at 1 Park Terrace. They were members of a wine club with their partners. Everyone had been to previous wine club dinners and had high expectations. We were not disappointed. The tapas menu was varied, delicious and plentiful. Joanna and Ramon were friendly, efficient and excellent hosts. We'll come again.

I am always made to feel very welcome by Joanna and Ramon. The food is great and the B@B is very clean and comfortable. Maverick is a lovely addition. The location is good and it is a bonus to have a restaurant at your fingertips, too! The hosts are helpful and knowledgeable and I look forward to my next visit.

Room Tip: I like the fact that you can have a private bathroom.

A group of us went on a rather last minute trip and couldn't get into our usual B&B and I'm very glad. Lovely B&B, lovely people, great location and breakfast was excellent. As a group of 4 it was really nice having the 2 rooms with a shared bathrooms as it felt like a little private apartment rather than a standard B&B. First class :)

Room Tip: If you're in a group, go for the 2 rooms sharing a bathroom, it's separate from the hotel so...
