There is a good selection of drinks including a range of wines, beers, ciders, local juices and soft drinks and a wide range of teas and coffees. The staff here are very attentive and welcoming! They were very knowledgeable about the Tea Rooms and the food and it was good to hear that the ingredients used are local and the food is all homemade! There is also a live harpist playing which gives a fantastic atmosphere to the place! On Sundays there is a traditional roast lunch served and the restaurant is always well booked on this day. “Abbey Tea Rooms Gives Satisfaction”
Reviewed 4 July 2014

After visiting Glastonbury Abbey, we took tea at the tea room, which is almost across the road. The tea and sandwiches were superb, very traditionally English, and the décor was exactly what you would expect from a sweet, old-fashioned tearoom. Not a lot of patrons there when we went, which was good, in our opinion. But those who came in, I noticed, were all locals. A highly recommended spot to get away from the crowds, step back in time to a more leisurely era, and simply relax.

“Lovely meal”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

This is an 'old fashioned' tearoom. But well worth a visit. Loads of character. The food was wonderful and very reasonably proiced. A very relaxing place for lunch.
