Both my partner and myself ate here on a monday evening.A warm welcome from friendly staff as we enterd makeing us feel like regulars.chose to have a drink while browsing the menu.some well kept real ales and wines and ciders to choose from.along with a well balanced menu with something to cater for most tastes.i hade the steak and ale pie which was fantastic.my partner opted for the posh fish pie, along with a selection of sorbes.I opted for the home made sticky toffie pudding. And i have to say we were not disopointed in any way.i would defenatley recomend this pub to friends and family.Thank you to all the staff for a wonderfull evening.

Thank Richard H

The 3 of eat here on the two nights we were in Glastonbury and on both occasions we found both the food and service very good and very reasonable in price.

Booked an overnight stay here to visit a friend. Great friendly staff. Nice room, fluffy towels very clean. We decided to have our evening meal there and were pleasantly surprised to be told we would get 10% off as we were guests. Food was great and the pub was quite busy, the decor is quirky and it is obviously a popular place with local people. Breakfast was included in our stay and was plentiful with a good choice, not just the standard cooked breakfast. Cost was very reasonable for Glastonbury. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Just a couple of things to note, the car park is at the back but you need to turn right well before the pub to get to it, so. You might end up going round the block a few times. The room was really warm, so open the window before you go to sleep.

We were staying at a nearby campsite which is quite a walk into town. So this was the perfect end to the walk. Its one of the very few dog friendly pubs in the town yet is probably the best kept pub in town. Had a great meal, the seafood platter was excellent and my husband enjoyed his ploughman's. Washed down with cider, a lovely place to shelter from the rain. The service was very good and friendly. Would definitely go back if we came back to Glastonbury.

Nicely decorated, interesting posters and old adverts decorating the walls and ceilings. Service was prompt and friendly. Seemed to be as many locals as fellow tourists which I always think is a good sign. The food arrived fairly quickly and tasted home made rather than microwaved. We both had the "fish linguine" which was prawns and crayfish tails in a creamy saffron sauce with linguine, tasty and extremely filling so we didn't make it as far as pudding.
