Glastonbury offers loads of "alternative" eating experiences, but If you don't fancy sitting next to vegan hippies or poncey Guardian reading Quinola addicts discussing the latest moon sightings, try this lovely traditional pub. Tucked away from the masses up a side street, next to one of the quieter car parks at the back of the town. We sat outside in the lovely sunny patio area and had a decent lunch. Service was quick and attentive, food was tasty. Couldn't really fault the place.

The food was good solid pub standard fare, the burger, and the chips were decent..
Such a shame then when the lady to runs it is very rude.
She refused to bring more mayoniase to our table, which when your paying £30+,is really insulting, and annoying, and spoiled the experience somewhat,,and guess what ,we need more mayo half way through..
I have witnessed this owner being very rude to her young staff around customers, which struck me as really bad practice....i think she doesn't realize what a negative effect that can have on the overall experience..
If they can run it more professional, friendly manner, they might have a good place on there hands

After being held up in a traffic jam on our way to Watchet on a family day out, we changed our minds and visited Glastonbury. Walked through the town and found this Inn. Two courses for £10 and plenty of choice. Good outside seating area, with large umbrellas for shade. The inside looked interesting too, also with plenty of seats. A pleasant waitress. We chose warm quiche and salad and chips, eggs benedict and highland eggs. All were nicely presented and the salad was more than just a few limp leaves. Nice and herby with tomato and cucumber. We didn't have room for the puds so only paid £7.99 a head, and we all had a good meal, including a 17 year old. Would visit this Inn again.

The "Who'dy" always provides a consistent level of good food and service. It is slightly away from the High Street in Glastonbury but it's well worth seeking out. The new owners, Ness and Bill, have totally revamped the pub but it retains it's quirkyness and now has a good atmosphere and ambience. There's a decent wine list and a good selection of beers too. What's not to like!

We have no hesitation in recommending the Who'd a Thought It!

Visited Glastonbury on the way home found this pub by chance and decide to try the lunch, two course for £10, very good value, tasty and delivered quickly by the friendly staff. Sat outside in the sunny and clean area and tables, most pubs do not meet these standards. Recommended if visiting this town.
