Best place in Glastonbury to relax. If you like spacious rooms try the abbey view suite. Rooms are clean, beds amazing. Delicious breakfast ( especially the coffee). Friendly host that makes you feel at home.

I spend seven days in the Lavender room and enjoyed very much the peaceful environment and the great kindness of Charlie, the B&B keeper. Ideally located, close to High Street, Chalice Well and the Tor. Beautiful view over the Abbey.

Another lovely break, down in Glastonbury, for 5 days & my 1st stay in the peaceful, tranquil Lavender Room. No TV, plenty of space, soothing colours...brilliant :-) Haydn House is in a great location & the house is full of character. Once again, the 7 of us took over the whole house for 5 action-packed days. Breakfast time is usually quite hilarious, especially if Charlie's "friend" Gervaise Montgomery pops in! The food is plentiful & Charlie will always try & accomodate special requests / diets.
Great trip to Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow & the sunset (special access) at Stone Henge was glorious. We were so lucky with the weather. The surprise at the end of the night, when almost back at Haydn House, was wonderful; thanks so much for that, Charlie.
Will be back & can only endorse all other praise & recommendations for Haydn House & its hosts, Charlie & Brenda.

We had a lovely stay here, even though it was just for a couple of nights. Charlie was very friendly and helpful, and made an excellent breakfast!! We stayed in the Abbey View suite which lived up to its name with great views of the Abbey, and was also comfortable, and had tea/coffee and a fridge which was handy. Hopefully we will be visiting Glastonbury again and I won't hesitate to rebook at Haydn House after being made to feel so welcome.

We had been recommended Haydn House by a friend from Australia. She had been very impressed by the unpretentious nature of the house which made her feel most "at home" and relaxed. She also extolled the virtues of Charlie's warm welcome and delicious breakfasts! We were really looking forward to the Haydn House experience and were not disappointed. We booked into the Abbey View Suite and found ourselves overlooking the Abbey Ruins which was an unexpected treat. The house was only a short walk away from the centre of Glastonbury and a brief drive from the Tor (the main focus of our visit). Our bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the privacy our area afforded ( which included a tea making area plus fridge). The bathroom was a real treat with a powerful shower as a bonus! Last but not least a great TV with a thoughtful selection of DVD's - we enjoyed Fried Green Tomatoes - a film we had been hoping to see for years. We only stayed for two nights but wished it had been longer - we hope to be back before long!

Brilliant stay once again at Haydn House, warmest of welcomes from Charlie and Brenda. Breakfast never fails to be excellent and caters for everyone's needs. Tour arranged by Charlie was magical especially the end of day surprise! Thanks again for a wonderful stay hope to be there again soon. Loved the view from the Abbey room, and the sofa in the bathroom. My favourite place to stay in Glastonbury.

Room Tip: Loved staying in the Abbey suite but the Lavender room is still my favourite with its beautiful peac...

Its been a year since I was at haydn house and I can say that everything is as it was, (I went with six friends who I went with last year ) Charlie and Brenda's warm welcome to everyone as if we had never been away. The loverly clean, relaxing Abby suite was waiting for three of us and the rest were in the other rooms, it was perfect as I knew it would be, In fact the whole place is wonderful which is why I will alway's go back. The breakfast is superb and second to none.
Charile and brenda thank you agian for a wonderful stay, and every thing you did for us all, and also for the fantastic trip to avebury and stonehenge that charlie did for our group,
Please go see for yourself you will not be disapointed.
