From our initial communication with Charlie to our farewells we couldn't have been more impressed and delighted. The accommodation is first class and provides a unique and warm vantage point to explore Glastonbury. Nothing is too much trouble and I would certainly book a return stay. The room was clean and impressive and provided a magnificent view of the Abbey. Breakfast is fantastic. The highlight for us was Charlie himself who is a lovely friendly chap who provides a home from home. Simply Top Class and fun.

Room Tip: Abbey View suite is very quiet with beautiful views

Yet again we were given the warmest of welcomes any gay couple would want to receive in a small town guest house. Charlie and Brenda made us feel valued, truly welcome and made sure all our needs were met. They were nearly fully booked so we couldn't have our usual Abbey View suite. However, our double room (the Olive Room) was very comfortable and afforded us a view across the Abbey Wall. The Olive Room is not an ensuite room but we had exclusive use of a lovely bathroom, just along the corridor, for most of our stay. Charlie even texted us to let us know that guests would be arriving who would use the shared facilities for our final day.

As usual the breakfasts were wonderful, fresh and made use of local providers. The delivery of the Glastonbury 'Egg man' in his ancient little Morris van is a delight to behold.

You couldn't get a more convenient, central location for visiting the Glastonbury historic and spiritual sites. If you want to go further afield Charlie offers excellent tours to sites such as Stonehenge, Avebury and other sites of archaeological or spiritual significance.

Room Tip: The Abbey View Suite is the best room. We have stayed in the Silver Birch ensuite room which was lov...

The best part of my trip to England was staying at Hadyn House. The house itself was wonderful. It was in a great location, just a block from High Street and a short walk to the Chalice Well Gardens and the Tor. I had an beautiful view of the Glastonbury Abbey ruins from the Abbey View room. Every morning, he made the most delicious breakfasts (and I'm not a fan of eating breakfast). When he took us to the various places (i.e. Avebury, Tintagel), you could see the passion he had for showing us the history of the various places. He found a way to make each place special, like finding dowsing rods for us to borrow and getting us into the museums free of charge at Avebury. I was very sad to have to go into London at the end of our stay. If I ever return to Glastonbury (fingers crossed), I will definitely stay at Haydn House and will tell all I know travelling to Glastonbury the same.

We stayed recently during our honeymoon from Australia, and had an amazing stay. Charlie our host was so caring and such a great guy. He made our stay such a special experience, and is an amazing chef for breakfast (even for vegetarians like us!)

The B and B is very comfortable and clean and homely, within easy walk to all the best parts of Glastonbury. We were very grateful to stay, and promise to return for our silver anniversary (if not sooner!).

Would recommend to everybody travelling to Glastonbury for a home away from home. Thank you for making our visit so special
