“Beautiful”
Reviewed 27 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Just back from our stay at Moonstone Cottage. Katarina was so lovely, warm and welcoming. The Cottage is beautiful and it was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed, and more. The garden is really cute, quaint and peaceful with a gorgeous view. The Cottage is only a short stroll into town, where we visited the Fabulous Frost Fayre. Glastonbury is a crazy, quirky place and full of wonderful characters. We love it. Thank you for our cake, it was stunning!! We can not recommend Moonstone Cottage Highly enough, and will return. Thank you so much. ps if you see A group of Elves in pictures of the Frost Fayre, that was us. HaHa.

Lovely cottage and garden. Katarina and her family were very welcoming and even made us bread and an apple crumble! An added bonus was the badgers at the bottom of the garden (more or less). Highly recommended.

Thank you Lynn and family for your great review. It has been a long time since we posted a public response (instead I tend to send private responses). Wanted to say how much we appreciate when people take the time to write a review. The badgers live in the Abbey grounds, which is on the other side of the stone wall at the bottom of the garden. It's quite magical to sit on the raised patio with a glass of wine and wait for them to appear at dusk. Glad you enjoyed your week at Moonstone! Blessings :and thanks.

“Wonderful people and convenient location.”
Reviewed 17 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

The house has lots of well thought details to make your stay much more enjoyable (umbrellas, toys, dvds, maps, etc). We specially appreciated the owner's kindness and their suggestions as to children facilities and things to do in town.
The house is so full of things ready to use that it felt more like a house swap.
The back is adjacent to the Abbey, so that, although there is traffic in front, the back is really peacefull and nice.

“Over the Moon About Moonstone Cottage”

My partner and I were so happy to stay for a week at Moonstone cottage. Katarina greeted us at the door and showed us around the place making sure we were well informed about the cottage.
The cottage is in a great location - close to the Tor, the Abbey, the Chalice Well, the main street and several grocery stores. We walked everywhere instead of dealing with driving and parking.
The cottage is a delight! A spacious main room, a fully equipped kitchen with an in-eat dining area, a conservatory with a washing machine, a large bedroom with a comfy queen bed, a smaller bedroom for children, and a spacious bathroom. We loved the shower and the on-demand hot water!
The backyard is paradise with 3 outdoor sitting areas, lovely flowering plants and very peaceful!
Moonstone Cottage was truly a home away from home! We enjoyed making and eating our home cooked meals and sitting in the gardens sipping wine! Everything we needed was provided. Katarina was helpful with touring tips and there were lots of pamphlets in the cottage so that we could plan our days.
Thank you, Katarina! We had a great time and should our travels take us back to Glastonbury, we will definitely stay here again!

“Perfect Glastonbury Getaway!”
Reviewed 21 March 2017 for a stay in January 2017

This warm & cosy cottage is ideally placed to be able to walk to all the local sights & wonderful array of cafes, shops & bars/restaurants Glastonbury has to offer. The Tor is only a 15 minute walk away & the Chalice Well is even nearer. The rear garden backs onto the Abbey grounds giving you great views & plenty of wildlife to observe as well. It's great you can park right out front off the main road & the cottage is kept immaculate making it ideal for those, like myself, who have asthma or allergies & the duvets/pillows are all hypo-allergenic which is very reassuring Katarina is a very kind & helpful host who always gives you a warm welcome & it truly does feel like "home from home", plenty of candles & just little touches here & there to help make your stay a relaxing, ambient one at any time of year. You are welcomed with organic/vegan etc chocolate, cider, wine, which is a lovely touch The apple crumble especially went down a treat !! I would easily stay here again & would recommend it to anyone, it's easily one of the best places to stay while in Glastonbury & I really didn't want to leave!! It's a mixture of quirky, rustic, & quaint, with all the modcons you would expect in a very convenient location. The cottage is kept meticulously clean & there is a good selection of books & local leaflets as well as cds. For me, just staying here was an experience in itself......superb!! Wholly recommended !!
