It is also the resting place for three Saxon kings and the legendary King Arthur. Set in 36 acres of parkland in the middle of the town, the histories, mysteries and myths of Glastonbury Abbey define it as a place of extraordinary spiritual significance. “Good value if you use voucher cloud”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

We had a buy one get one free and this was good value for money but I think full price would be a bit steep. We watched the displays they had on over the bank holiday weekend and walked around the grounds. We really enjoyed the garden art.

“Magical”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

this is my second time of visiting the Abbey and its just a magical place. As soon as you walk into the grounds its like you are stepping back in time. Everything is beautifully maintained and the ruins itself are so beautifully preserved you can almost imagine how it would of looked.

The admission is a great price and the information available is realy good and informative. All of the staff were extremley helpful and cheery. My two children who are aged 8 and 3 also enjoyed it and loved wandering round. A lovely magical morning out

“Abbey ruins”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

This was the highlight of my visit. It was so easy to imagine what life in this rather large Abbey must have been like. Beautiful! And the Abbots kitchen was brilliant. Great place.

“great value for money”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

The ruins, the immaculate gardens, the museum/exhibition and tea room. Add to this the occasional events and reenactments and it all adds up to a great day out. Informative, entertaining and educational ,a little gem of historical interest set amongst the comical, ludicrousity of the 'hip spirituality' of Glastonbury.
