This is such a significant landmark, if you're in the area you simply must walk to the top to see it properly, and view it from afar to see it has people have over the centuries. Its a steep walk, but worth the effort.

It's not half as bad going up as expected. Our 3 year old positively bounced up it.

Great views from the top and thoroughly enjoyable. We went into town after for a bite too eat. Had it been a warm day a picnic would had been even better.

Park at Draper & Co as recommended by National Trust (was £2 on the Friday we went).

Our family really enjoyed walking up the Tor. The paths are good and there is an information board about at the start of the walk which is worth a read.
Once you get to the top the views are amazing and the walk back down is enjoyable.

A bit of a hike from The Old Oaks campsite for the sunrise - of which the sun never came up but its a gamble you take. The views are breathtaking. Theres something spiritual about the place that just makes you feel so calm inside
