“Unexpectedly Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

I added this stop in to our England trip at the last minute, and just because it was kind of on the way back from Bristol to London. But it was the best surprise of the trip. Glastonbury is a lovely village, and the walk up the Tor is spectacular - the views alone are well worth it.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2014

A beautiful walk with the most stunning of view when you get to the top. A most tranquil, stress free hour. And to make it even better on one side you can buy coffee and on the other - Ice cream! Does it get any better?

“Steep walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

This Tor is the remains of a tower from St. Michaels Church that once stood here. Hard steep walk to the top but a must do. Great views once you are there, I probably would have found the walk easier but was fighting a virus, it is doable just take your time and stop as many times as you like. There is a small portable cafe on the bottom with tables and chairs and its near the Chalice Well.

“A bracing walk to the top!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

This is such a significant landmark, if you're in the area you simply must walk to the top to see it properly, and view it from afar to see it has people have over the centuries. Its a steep walk, but worth the effort.
