“Centrally located and everything you need for a few days”
Reviewed 2 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Nice little barn conversion attached to owners home that had everything you could need for a short break - or longer if it suits. The stairs to the loft double bedroom are a little steep and could be a problem for anyone with a walking or stair climbing problem, but its a big space and easy to use. WiFi and TV reception very good. We didn't cook but everything in place to do so. Beds very comfortable although the double one upstairs has a beam on one side that you have to watch in the night! Julie the owner is very friendly and a lovely dog greets you!

“A cosy cottage, perfect for a family of 4.”
Reviewed 30 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We loved the cottage. It was a great base for visiting Glastonbury and Bath.
The Wi-Fi really impressed the teenagers and kept them entertained in our down time.
Thank you for letting us stay, I would highly recommend the accommodation and we would love to stay again.

“Very well situated for what we wanted to see in the area:)”
Reviewed 16 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We (myself, my husband and daughter) had a lovely stay at Lilac Cottage from the Friday evening until Sunday. The cottage is well equipped and had everything that we needed. It is well situated for visiting Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, and the beautiful cities of Wells and Bath. We had a lovely time on our short break and managed to squeeze in many trips out. The owners were there to greet us and were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

“Birthday Treat”
Reviewed 7 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We are a family of four with a 17 yr old son and a 8 yr old daughter. We brought our elderly chocolate labrador too. We came to Glastonbury as a birthday treat for myself to explore the interesting shops in the town. Julie and John the owners were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was comfortable and nicely decorated. My daughter enjoyed the dolls house and loved the loft bedroom upstairs. We especially liked the view out the back of the property where you could see The Tor in the distance. It was a lovely place to stay for a short break. Thank you for having us and being dog friendly too.

“Relaxing & convenient”
Reviewed 24 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

My friends and I stayed over in Lilac cottage when we met with a friend living near Glastonbury. It had everything we needed and the pub next door worked out really well for us. Although ours was only a one-night stopover and we did not meet Julie in person, all of her communications and directions were extremely helpful. The cottage has a very nice atmosphere - I wish we could have stayed longer! Would love to go back again!

“Lovely place”
Reviewed 22 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

I have just returned home following a week break at Lilac Cottage.
Although situated on a rather busy road ( A361) we slept well.
John and Julie were most friendly when we see them and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay.
A pub next door... many beautiful towns in close proximity...
Yes, we will be back.
Thank you.

“ANOTHER PLEASANT STAY”
Reviewed 4 February 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Since this is our 8th or 9th stay I in fact need say little else. Comfortable, warm cottage, very relaxed, good price, centre for so many places and surrounded by mistletoe, could not be better
